Supporting Local Food banks

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) is recognized across Canada for its efforts in working at a grassroots level with local charities and food banks to help address the shortage of non-perishable foods and resources.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association has raised over 1,127,000 pounds of food as part of a charitable initiative to support local food banks throughout the pandemic.

Local food banks play a pivotal role in our society to help distribute food and resources to marginalized and the less fortunate citizens of our society that are struggling to make ends meet. AMYA is focused on providing pragmatic measures to address these challenges and has led to utilizing its volunteer resources to take action and support local charities in meeting their goals.
